Welcome to our website. By using our site, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. PRODUCTS & AVAILABILITY
All products are subject to availability. We may discontinue or update products at any time without notice.
2. PRICING
Prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR). We reserve the right to adjust prices.
3. ORDERS & PAYMENT
Orders are confirmed once payment is received. We accept payments securely through Shopify’s checkout system and trusted payment providers.
4. SHIPPING
We deliver throughout South Africa using reputable couriers. Delivery times may vary depending on your location. Delays outside our control (e.g., courier strikes, natural events) are not our responsibility.
5. RETURNS & REFUNDS
Kind & Ethical Refund & Returns Policy
REFUNDS
In the unlikely event that you have received a faulty or damaged product or had a fulfilment error, please get in touch with our support team within 30 days of the delivery date. We will do our best to resolve that matter as quickly as possible.
Please contact us immediately with the following information:
• Your order number
• Which item(s) is/ are damaged
• Photo evidence and description
- Once verified, we’ll process your refund within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds are made to your original payment method.
- Kindly note We cannot process a refund without proof of damage
RETURNS
We want you to love your purchase. If you are not satisfied, here’s how returns work:
- Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery.
- Products must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging for hygiene reasons.
- Due to the personal nature of the product, unfortunately we are unable to offer any returns or exchanges for opened products.
- To start a return, email us at hello@kindandethical.co.za providing your order details and explaining the reason for your return.
- Shipping for the return is at the customer’s expense and the customer will be required to arrange their own shipping.
- Some of our packaging consists of glass. In the event that the return arrives to us broken, Kind & Ethical cannot be held liable and a refund cannot be processed. To avoid this, please ensure that the item is properly protected.
6. EXCHANGES
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
In the event of Receiver Being Unavailable
Please ensure, you are available via your provided contact methods either on e-mail or/and phone. Occasionally, the Couriers will try and contact you to arrange the delivery. Should there be multiple contact attempts from the Couriers and the receiver is not responding, please note that the courier has to return the parcel to Kind and Ethical.
The cost of re- issuing the parcel due to unavailability of the customer/receiver will be at the cost of the customer. Should you wish to cancel your order after the order got returned to us, please note, that the incurred shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. You should always perform a patch test before use if you have sensitive skin or allergies. In the event of an allergic reaction or skin sensitivity, we advise customers to discontinue use immediately and consult with a medical professional. Due to the individual nature of allergies and sensitivities, we cannot accept returns or provide refunds for such cases.
8. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
9. ORDER CANCELLATIONS & MODIFICATIONS
Our fulfilment process begins immediately after an order is received, we will try our best to resolve your query, but if the order has already been processed, we may not be able to accommodate your request. Please email (hello@kindandethical.co.za) or call us/ WhatsApp us immediately on 0658776890.
All confirmed orders will be subject to our return policy under section 5.
11. STOCK AVAILABILITY
In the event that an item becomes unavailable, Kind & Ethical reserves the right to cancel your order or items within your order at any time. We will provide a full refund, back to your original form of payment. You will be notified via email of any orders or items we cannot fulfil and have refunded.
Modification of Return Policy: Kind & Ethical reserves the right to modify or update this return policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the policy will be posted on our website and will apply to all purchases made after the date of the policy update.
Please note that by making a purchase from Kind & Ethical, the customer acknowledges and accepts the terms and conditions of this return policy.
