Returns & Refunds Policy
Returns and Exchanges
We want you to love your purchase, if you are not satisfied, here’s how returns work:
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
- These 14 days start when the package is received. Please note that the return shipment must be sent back to us within these 14 days.
- Products must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging for hygiene reasons.
- Due to the personal nature of the product, unfortunately we are unable to offer any returns or exchanges for opened products.
- To start a return, email us at hello@kindandethical.co.za providing your order details and explaining the reason for your return.
- Shipping for the return is at the customer’s expense and the customer will be required to arrange their own shipping. Shipping costs are not refundable.
- Some of our packaging consists of glass. In the event that the return arrives to us broken, Kind & Ethical cannot be held liable and a refund cannot be processed. To avoid this, please ensure that the item is properly protected.
Refunds
We want you to love your order. In the unlikely event that you have received a faulty or damaged item or had a fulfilment error, please get in touch with our support team within 30 days of the delivery date.
Please contact us immediately with the following information:
• Your order number
• Which item(s) is/ are damaged
• Photo evidence and description (if damaged)
Once verified, we’ll process your refund within 7–10 business days.
Refunds are made to your original payment method.
Once the refund has been processed it can take up to 3 days to reflect in your bank account.
Deliveries in the event of Receiver Being Unavailable
Please ensure, you are contactabled via your provided contact methods either on e-mail or/and phone. Occasionally, the Couriers will try and contact you to arrange the delivery. Should there be multiple contact attempts from the Couriers and the receiver is not responding, please note that the courier has to return the parcel to Kind and Ethical.
The cost of re-issuing the parcel due to unavailability of the customer/receiver will be at the cost of the customer. Should you wish to cancel your order after the order got returned to us, please note, that the incurred shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
